Motoring
Since before E3 could talk he has been able to make a motor sound. And now that he is 2 he has perfected it and put it to any toy or moving object, including his brother's walker. Yesterday he decided to introduce Frank to his "motoring" habit by pushing him around the kitchen and making engine sounds. Also, to Earl, Frank's walker is not what it should be called. Earl considers it his "snowmobile" and when Frank is not sitting in it Earl will get in it and "snowmobile" around the house (quite recklessly, good thing this walker is durable enough for a wild 2 year old.

Gwen's Style
Gwen has always been a girl who knows what she wants, including what she wants to wear. She often changes her outfits to match what kind of a mood she is in. Although she prefers to wear dresses and be girly she sometimes comes up with some unusual concoctions. The picture of her in the blue PJ's was her idea of a good outfit to wear to town the other day. She did not win that battle, I made her change. She also likes to wear her "hi-heels" around the house too. We love our little fashionista and look forward to her new outfits everyday.
Brotherly Love
Earl is really starting to like Frank. Not that he didn't before, it was just that before now Frank wouldn't respond to Earl and Earl thought a baby was pretty boring. But now that Frank is laughing and playing Earl really likes to play with him. In the picture, Earl is reading Frank his tractor book. It was very cute to watch them. Earl would ask Frank which ones he liked and then would try to make Frank nod. It was really funny.

Monday, April 5, 2010
Hey everybody! Well since Joelle came up with the brilliant idea of starting a blog to keep family and friends updated I decided that I should give it a go as well. I will try my best to make at least one post per week. any who....
Easter was a lot of fun around here. We started the day out with opening Easter Baskets. Gwen was very excited to see a Cinderella barbie in hers and Earl got a Toy Story bat and ball. So far we have had no casualties with the bat and ball. Then the kids disgusted with their dad how big of a freak the Easter Bunny was because "what kind of a bunny lays eggs?!". Gwen was sure that there was nothing wrong with the Easter Bunny but Earl wanted to go hunt it down, of course, with his dad. He also wanted to shoot Santa's reindeer last Christmas. We then read the Easter Story and headed off to Grandma Brown's for an Easter Egg hunt and Dinner. Gwen of course took right off with her basket and started right away. The kids had a blast! It was really cute to watch them search and get so excited when they found an egg. Needless to say we all had a great family day together.
